The Return of Sherlock Holmes

This chapter talked about a blackmailer who had already ruined many people’s life’s and weddings. One day, a young lady contacted Holmes to go and negotiate with Milverton, thing that went badly wrong, because Milverton was waiting for a big price of seven thousand for one letter and wasn’t accepting changes. There was no deal, it was the seven thousand or nothing, besides, he didn’t care if the consequences created a divorce or not, all he wanted was money. Holmes couldn’t deal a lower price with Milverton, so he decides to steal the letters her customer was so worried about.
